2. Lyckas hon fånga ditt intresse tidigt i krönikan? I så fall, på vilket sätt?

Typsnitt: Times New Roman. Storlek 12.

Deadline
Vi påbörjar arbetet tisdag 3 februari (vecka 6). Krönikan ska lämnas in absolut senast fredag 22 februari (vecka 8).

The real story

Smoke rises from a house deliberately set on fire on June 13, days after part of the ground it was resting on collapsed into Lake Whitney, Texas. According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, burning was one of three options the homeowner had for removing the home from the site before it fell into the lake. The house was evacuated two weeks earlier after cracks were discovered in the walls and chunks of the cliff and the house began falling into the lake.

My student’s story

THE DRAGON WHO'S HOUSE BURNED DOWN.
Once upon a time in a city far, far, away a house burned down. The reason that the house burned down is still a mystery but the wise men thinks it is caused by dark magic. The creature that lived in the house was a dragon, so it is possible that it set fire on it's own house. None of the dragon's neighbors cared about the fire, since it have happened before.
"The dragon's house always burn down, by different reasons every time, last time it started burning it was caused by water!" the little pineapple said.
The wise men still don't understand how water can make a house burn down, but they're getting there.
"Water just can't start a fire, it's impossible!" the leader of the wise men said. The other wise men agreed.

The dragon got killed later that night so the city is now living in peace until a new dragon moves in.

The real story:
A staff member examines a 14-year-old male orangutan found with air gun metal pellets embedded in his body at the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Center in Indonesia on April 16. The center has cared for over 280 orangutans rescued from palm oil plantations, poachers and pet owners, and over 200 have been reintroduced into the wild. The critically-endangered primate population is dwindling rapidly due to poaching and destruction of their forest habitat as it is converted into palm oil plantations.

My students’ stories:
Friday 1/7 2014
Once upon a time I was walking around in the jungle when I heard a gun shot. I started to run, I jumped up in a tree but I was too big so the tree branch broke. Than I fell, fell down, when I finally touched the ground I fainted. When I woke up I was at an animal hospital. I had a terrible headache. A nurse helped me up and she took some samples before she let me out at to the jungle again. Every day after that I came back to the hospital and the nurse gave me bananas. Some times I stayed at the hospital  al night.
I don't know why but she makes me smile, I think it's because she saved my life, and now she's like a mom for me.

One day there was a monkey on the hospital. The monkey’s name is Loss. He is in the hospital because of his head. Loss has a very difficult headache the last couplel of weeks. Loss stand on a ZOO  when many people came. He is 36 years old and he is the most popular monkey in the world.
Loss’ best friends Reall is 29 years old. Loss is a special monkey. Before he was on the ZOO, he was a pet. His old owner was allergic.

Loss was also a circus monkey, bud now that he is at the ZOO, he is not a circus monkey. The doctor gave Loss antibiotics.

The monkey got hurt. But how did he get hurt? I have a pretty weird theory, maybe even two theories. Or I am just writing something that takes up a lot of space on the paper. Muahaha. I probably even made the text bigger…
First theory: monkey.
Just joking, the real first theory: The monkey probably did a monkey thing, like smelled some poop and fell from a tree. Or maybe he got in a fight against a stone.
Third and most likely theory: A man could have poisoned him. Or the monkey got a disease, maybe even got in a fight with a stone. Sorry, I don't know why I’m thinking about stones!

The real story:
Corbin Crawford, 12, left, holds his brother, Dylan Crawford, 7, as the pair await rescue from shifting ice above a hydroelectric dam on the Des Moines River near Fort Dodge, Iowa, on March 20. The boys were stuck adrift on a sheet of ice about 75 feet from the west bank of the river for nearly an hour before firefighters saved them. Fort Dodge Police officer Tim Breon talks to them at left.

My students' stories:
There were two boys and they were going to the school but they most go over the ice but the ice break and the boys floating away. They are about to floating away. The policeman did not do anything. They didn't float very long before a helicopter come and helped them. The  helicopter headed for the hospital. Because one of the boys had fell in the water  and almost froze to death.
The policeman was suspended because he didn't care when the boys were about to float away and hardly die. But the boys survived.

Dear diary,
Yesterday me and my brother John went to iceskating.
We walked on the ice but John fell in the water. He started to scream so I was so afraid so I also started to scream.
But then I saw some thing it was a man know i was a police man, he walked really fast. He helped my brother up from the water.
He asked my brother if he was alright, my brother say that I was alright but cold.
Then he asked if we wanted to come to the police office and we say yes so he say that we just can follow him to the police cab. So we did that but first I hugged my brother so hard but after that we started to go to the police cab. The police man asked  if he can get our mom's number we gave the police the number.
We jumped in the car and he turn on the police radio, he drives us to the police office.
When we came to the office we met this lovely woman, her name is Quinn and we gave my brother a blanket because I think that she saw that my brother was cold. And then after a wild the police man says that he was going to call our mom to say the we was at the police office and that we was okay. And then Quinn walks out of the room and 2 or 3 minutes later she came back with two cups of hot chocolate with whipping cream on the top we drank our chocolate and when the police man came in to the room and he says that our mom was outside so we say thank you to Quinn and the police man and we walked out of the building and our mom was there and we gave her a big hug and we jumped in to the car.
